"Restoring" a cheap RC truck toy from 90's

I'd played a similar one in the past and it was very popular amongst the children. You could even find these in groceries, street toy vendors.
Before repairing the wiring, I washed in warm soapy water and then neutralized the rusted battery terminals.
Then repaired the contacting mechanism which was very simple but effective!
Then it turned out great! A great object from the era that reminds me my childhood memories.
